This piece was composed for the Assisi Performing Arts festival in Italy and premiered by my dear friend, Ieva.  The piece represents the sounds and feelings one comes across when walking through the mountain town.  It begins with the sounds of birds chirping and fluttering in the early morning.  As the journey continues one hears the sound of Gregorian chant from the monasteries as they pass by, and culminates in the ringing of the church bells all across the town.  A beautiful representation of a beautiful place.
